Sweet Tweet!

Conforming to the world around me, I created a Twitter account for myself. I follow about 53 people as of right now, and about 99% of those people are celebrities. I check it everyday, and I still update mine like people actually care. Only about 13 people follow me, and some of them are not even "people." One day, maybe people will want to know what kind of sandwich I am eating. Only time will tell.

Anyway, lately I have been trying to "tweet" celebrities to see if they will respond. I love my favorite celebrities, and when they respond to me, I feel connected with them. I know that sounds cheesy! When they do not respond after a few days, I delete my "tweet" so people do not see how many times I have actually attempted this. Yes, for those reading this, that is my secret.

A few weeks ago, I was watching the premiere episode of "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." I LOVE that show! Tori and Dean and even their children are absolutely hilarious. They do not hold anything back at all. The cameras are pretty much allowed to capture anything. They were planning on redecorating Patsy's house.

For those who do not know, Tori is an amazing interior designer. I noticed this on the first season of their show. They ran an Inn and she redesigned every room. At one point, it showed a before and after shot of everything. The results were amazing and ever since then, I have been trying to live up to her talent.

I like to think of myself as a talented interior designer as well. I love redecorating anything I can get my hands on. Parts of my room are always changing, and I could not be happier with how my room looks. As of right now, the walls are a charcoal gray and my beddding is a black comforter, white sheets and leopard print decorative pillows. I love leopard print, so I figured it would be a nice accent to the room.

Back to Tori and Dean... after I watched their show, I figured I would try to "tweet" Tori. I asked her about what she would add to my room, and she answered very quickly!

I was so excited she answered me! I think a pop of color in my room would be perfect. Tori - thank you for answering me, being a fabulous interior designer and being real.

And that is the end of my Tori story.

For those of you who want to see her stylish house, watch "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" Mondays at 10 p.m.

I'm ur CH-CH-CH-CH-CH-CH-CH CHERRY BOMB!

Hello Daddy.

Hello Mom.

I'm ur CH-CH-CH-CH-CH-CH-CH CHERRY BOMB!

I cannot get that out of my head! My friend Jessica and I went to go see "The Runaways" a few days ago, and I absolutely loved it. First off, it was only playing in one theater in town, but do not let that deceive you. It was a brilliant movie. It was rated R, so you should know that there is a lot of mentioning of sex, drugs and rock and roll. I have to mention this, too. Jessica walked into the theater and asked me, "Did you get carded? Because I got carded." Sorry Jessica, but no. It is okay people, she is old enough. She is just short.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning did an amazing job portraying Joan Jett and Cherie Currie. We have all gotten a little taste of Joan from Kristen by seeing her movie mullet 'do, but she rocked it. Dakota may be seen as a little child star to many people but not anymore. She is grown up, and she pulled off her performance as Cherie. Kristen and Dakota complimented each other very well in the movie and were made to be these characters... no one else!

Just to explain how much I love the movie, I ordered the movie soundtrack as soon as I got home. I am expecting it in the next few days, but until then I just keep singing "Cherry Bomb," because that is all that I know.

You will not regret seeing this movie! It is one that you will remember forever, and now I am counting down the days until it is on DVD. Let me know what you guys think of the movie - whether you have seen it yet or not.

Don’t Runaway – Kristen is Back!

Way back in November 2009, the red carpet premiere of “New Moon” was held in Knoxville, Tenn. That’s right. Tennessee. Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart were scheduled to come. My friend, Jessica, and I decided that we needed to go and see them.

We stood outside the theater for about five hours in the same spot, not moving, and as the hours passed, hundreds of screaming girls were added to the area. When it came time for them to be there, they were no where to be found. One of the security guards came out and told us that Kristen left her dress on the plane back at the airport. So her assistant had to go back to the airport and get the dress, then she had to take some time to get ready. I guess it came to be about an hour or so later, and we saw black SUVs come around the corner. Snapshot!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there was the hottie with a body, Taylor Lautner, right before my eyes. He got out and waved and made his way to the crowd along with the beautiful, yet eclectic Kristen Stewart. Her dress was black and white and I’d definitely wear it.

Jessica and I were in basically the first/second row behind the barricades because we had been there so long, and we were in the middle of the long stretch of thousands. Kristen came across the street to the fans first, and I struggled to get a picture because she was starting out the opposite direction than me. Taylor Lautner came my way though! I got GREAT pictures of him, and Jessica got his autograph on her “New Moon” book.

It was a pretty successful night overall. I mentioned that Kristen’s look was eclectic and that is exactly why I love it so much. She doesn’t care what others think of her, and she looks good no matter what. Her new movie, “The Runaways,” comes out this Friday, April 9, and I am so excited to go see it. Jessica and I can’t wait!

I’ll have to fill you in on what I think about it. I am definitely anxious to see the kind of style in the film. It will be exciting to see Dakota Fanning in the movie alongside Kristen, especially since she was in “New Moon” also. So go see it too and tell me what you think!

My Celebrity BFFs

You already know that I went to Vegas and had a blast. And you already know that I got to go to the red carpet premiere of “She’s Out of My League.” Well, there are two other celebrities added to my list that I was SO excited to see AND meet!

Angel Perrino and Laura Croft from “The Girls Next Door” were there! When they first walked through the barricades, I couldn’t get a good picture in time because I was strictly in awe. I turned to my mom and was probably screaming and probably being embarrassing.

It was time to start making our way into the movies and I got my ticket stub checked by the movie employee, and I was making my way through the hall to find a seat. I just happened to turn around and look into the lobby, and I saw Angel and Laura standing in line for popcorn. First of all, I was very impressed that they see themselves like any other person. They just stood in line and waited in a mob of people. My eyes got huge, but I couldn’t go get my picture made with them because I had just gotten my ticket checked.

I turned to my mom all sad and such and just told her that we should go grab seats, because the place was packed. We went to the upper deck because we had general admission tickets and she sat down and I told her to save my seat while I ran downstairs with my camera to go get my picture with Angel and Laura. I ran downstairs and waited outside the double doors where you get your tickets checked for a little while, but nothing. I didn’t see them at all. When I went back to my seat, I looked towards the stage, and they were sitting at a table in the front. So close!

After the movie, you already know I got my picture with Geoff Stults. Once everyone had left the area, my mom and I were just looking at my pictures from the event and we were one of the only ones left in the lobby. As I am turning to finally go into the casino to leave, I see Angel and Laura! JACKPOT! I blurted out towards them, “Hey! Can I get my picture with you guys?” They smiled and said sure. They immediately complimented my boots, which I now wear all the time because of that – just had to throw that in there. After I got my picture with them, they stood there and talked to me for literally like 4 minutes. It seemed like forever. We were talking about the movie and our favorite parts.

To set the record straight – these are two of the nicest girls that I have ever met. Seriously. They were so down-to-earth and didn’t come off as arrogant or “better than me.” They treated me like I was one of their best friends which I really appreciate. This is one moment that I will never forget, and I am glad I have a picture to remember it by.

I Hit the Jackpot in Vegas

My mom and I went to Las Vegas for my spring break. I just turned 21 a few weeks earlier, so it was perfect timing! Before we left, I looked up on the Internet fun events going on or to see if anybody I love was going to be hosting anything fun, but I couldn’t really find anything. Bummer.

Well, on our first day of scoping out the town, we saw a HUGE poster on the wall in Planet Hollywood. It said that there would be a red carpet premiere of “She’s Out of My League” the next day. JACKPOT! Ha… it’s Vegas… so jackpot… get it? I was SO excited!

The next day came and when it was about an hour before the red carpet started, my mom and I made our way to Planet Hollywood. When we got to where the event was, it was all decked out. The red carpet was lit up like the sun and the paparazzi were waiting and ready. I very much wanted to jump the barricade and pretend that I was “somebody” and see them go crazy. So we go stand on the side of the barricades waiting and waiting. It was set up so that the celebrities have to walk through the barricades of fans to get to the red carpet. As we are standing and waiting, some movie workers came by and gave out free tickets to the movie! So obviously we took tickets.

Lucky for us, we got to watch the movie in the same theater as all of the celebrities. I felt pretty VIP if I must say so myself. After the movie, which was a LAUGH OUT LOUD movie by the way, my mom and I stood out in the lobby for a bit just to see if any of the celebrities walked out that way. They actually did!

Two celebrities that I saw immediately were Geoff Stults and Stacy Keibler. They are the cutest couple! I saw that Geoff was being bombarded by girls, so I approached Stacy. I asked her if I could get my picture with her and she looked at me and said sure. Well just as I was going to do that, some guy stepped in and handed me his camera. So I figured I’d take a picture for him if he’d take one for me. So I was nice and Tennessean and took a picture of them then when I was handing him my camera, Stacey walked off. SERIOUSLY?!? I was so sad! Message to Stacy – I am sad. You owe me a picture.

Anyway, I saw Geoff walking a little then get bombarded again. So I sort of waited to the side of the mob so that when he escaped, he’d escape to where I was standing. Yay for me! I gave my mom my camera and when he turned, I asked for a picture with him. He said of course and put his arm around me. Again, he put his arm around me. Smiles! Then my mom decided to go to the other side so he had to put his arm around me again on the other side. Note to mom – you rock! So I got my picture with him, which is framed because I love it so much, and he was so nice! I told him he was great in the movie and he was saying he was glad I liked it and such. My legs and arms were shaking the entire time we were talking. It was like I couldn’t even remember what we were talking about.

Anyway, the moral of the story is… Stacy- you know what happened, and Geoff- I would like to see you again, and Mom- Love you and I had a blast!
